GradeQuick Update
Security at the Program Level
GradeQuick Version 10 has added security. A Login to GradeQuick feature has been added at the program level, requiring users to have a valid User Name and Password to open GradeQuick. In this feature, passwords are case sensitive and can be reset by the school’s system administrator.
Student Summary View
GradeQuick Version 10 introduces Student Summary View: a way to view a student’s basic information, including photo, student memos, class average, and grade at a glance. From Student Summary View, teachers can also add or edit Student Information, Memos, Scores and Grades, and Attendance.
Assigning Terms
GradeQuick Version 10 automatically assigns Terms for new tests according to the Term Start Dates you have set for the grade book. You may also edit a test’s term by highlighting it and typing over it.
Randomized Sort
A Randomized Sort button has been added to the Standard Toolbar in GradeQuick Version 10. The Randomized Sort button appears immediately to the right of the Ascending and Descending Sort arrows on the Standard Toolbar.
Globally Update Term Start Dates
GradeQuick Version 10 gives administrators the opportunity to globally update Term Start Dates in all active gradebooks at any time. This ensures that every gradebook will contain the correct term dates.
Enhanced Grading Preferences
GradeQuick Version 10 lets you set custom cut-offs for Average Term Grades or use convenient grading tiebreakers to determine final grades.
Attaching Skills to Tests
GradeQuick Version 10 lets you link Skills to tests if you have added them to your gradebook. You can also report on which tests make up a skill grade.
Spell Check
GradeQuick Version 10 includes a spell check feature for Lesson Plans. To access spell check, right-click in a Lesson Planner text box. Spell check will access a list of suggestions from which you can choose the correct word or spelling.
Resource Links
GradeQuick Version 10 has the ability to link to resources you use in Lesson Plans, such as worksheets or other items that may be stored any where on your computer, network, or the Internet. The Resource Links feature is located in the Define Instructional Plan dialogue box.
Seating Chart
Dropped Students
When you Hide Dropped Students for attendance and printing functions, they will also be hidden in your seating charts.
New Reports
GradeQuick Version 10 offers you 30 new reports options.
Multi-file Reports Made Easier
In GradeQuick Version 10, if you have already printed a Multi-file Report, you can push the Previous Selection button to recall the files you selected last time and add them to the list. To eliminate a file from the list, highlight the file name and push Drop From List button. See Multi-file Reports.
